Searching for cool new travel destinations ? Here are my top 5 travel places to see : Clarke Quay: This delightful riverside development is packed full of bustling bars and restaurants, boutique shops and pumping nightclubs, attracting a steady stream of tourists alongside Singapore’s party animals. Clarke Quay’s location takes full advantage of the picturesque body of water that emerges from the city’s main river, with alfresco-style dining to be had in an endless number of eateries set around the water’s edge. Head under the futuristic, jelly-like roof and you’ll find some great shopping options as well as a plentiful supply of bars, making this a real bar-hoppers’ heaven.
You must see Costa Rica at least once : Easily accessible from Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo, Conchal, and Papagayo, the Catalinas Islands offer some of the best scuba diving in Costa Rica. This island chain is located off the Nicoya Peninsula in the northwest part of the country. The depth ranges between 18–75 feet (5.4–23 meters) and within this range there is an incredible diversity of wildlife. The islands are famous for their population and variety of rays, as well as tropical fish, sharks, sea turtles, and even sometimes whale sharks and pilot whales. Diving is incredible here all year around.
Looking for info about this awesome place called Galapagos? An attraction that combines fun and education, the Interpretation Center of San Cristobal aims to introduce visitors to the rich history of the islands. The center was put together by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development, the Galapagos National Park management, and the Charles Darwin Foundation. Visitors exploring the center will learn many fascinating pieces of information about the island’s history. For example, the Natural History Room goes into an in-depth exhibit of the volcanic origin of the islands. There are other rooms dedicated to the island’s colonization, flora and fauna species, and conservation of the land. Find additional info on Asia Travel Destinations.
Joysxee Floating Bottle Island: An island made from plastic bottles! What a great way to utilize some of the excessive amounts of plastic on the island. If you plan to visit, make sure the creator Richard Sowa is in residence. He will come and collect you by small boat and charges 50 pesos ($2.50) per person to take you back to his island made from over 150,000 bottles. Richard explains how he gathers plastic bottles from Isla Mujeres and creates a platform from them by placing them into bags. On top of the bags, he places wooden pallets, adding plywood, carpet, sand and dirt, rocks and then plants mangroves that assists in binding it all together. A visit here is one of the most unique things to do in Isla Mujeres.
With its sheltered sandy shores tucked away behind by a mountainous coastline and sloping cliffs, Golden Bay in Northwest Malta is one of the island’s prettiest beaches. Golden Bay Beach is easily accessible by car or bus; the bus stop is only a five-minute walk away from the beach. Unlike other beaches in Malta, Golden Bay Beach is far away from street traffic, which makes it a perfect get-away-from-it-all seaside escape. The beach has an extremely wide shoreline with soft golden sands. The clean, calm waters are safe for swimming. Many visitors spend the day here sunbathing while listening to the soothing sound of waves lapping against the shore. Lounge chairs and beach umbrellas are available for rent, and the site has well-maintained facilities including public toilets and changing rooms. There are also cafés and restaurants with terraces overlooking the shore and the gently crashing waves. See more details on Compare Hotels.
