Knowing how to repel them, even without slathering yourself in hazardous levels of bug repellent, is a great skill to have when camping. Take along a few bundles of sage the next time you go camping. Then, when the sun is setting and the campfire is going, burn a bit of sage with your fire. Or for a longer-lasting effect, set the sage on fire and let it smolder and smoke by the edge of the campfire. Mosquitoes are naturally repelled by sage smoke, and you’ll find a lot less of them buzzing around you. Remember that mosquitoes, while their presence may be felt at all times of day, are typically most active at dawn and dusk. It’s best to be prepared by having some burning sage ready at those times. Keukenhof Gardens is the world’s largest flower garden, and actually a promotion for the Dutch flower industry. Approximately seven million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park with not only tulips, but also hyacinths, daffodils and other spring flowers on display. The gardens are open from the last week in March to mid-May. Keukenhof is one of the most visit tourist attractions in the Netherlands.

Für die schönen Sommertage bieten wir ein Freibad. Sie können auch an den nicht ganz so schönen Tagen kurz draußen abtauchen, das Freibad ist nämlich beheizt und hat eine Mindesttemperatur von 25 Grad Celsius. Wir haben hier einen Wasserspielplatz mit kleinen Fontänen, ein Kinderbad und ein Diplom-Becken. Somit können Sie sich auch draußen im Wasser vergnügen.
